Are they like ladies who look like boys, boys that dress like ladies? Why would someone go to Thailand for something I'm sure they could find on Craigslist? Is the attraction because they are ladyboys or because they are specifically Thai?

I'm in Paris until Tuesday. flew in last night.

Managed to get 5 hrs of sleep.The most I've had all at once since I left the States last week. Although I just moved another 5 time zones west from Bangkok the jet lag suddenly doesn't feel nearly as bad as it did in Thailand

I fly to Spain on tuesday. Then Scotland Thursday. Back home on Friday. 26,000 miles in the air in two weeks. Kind of a bummer that I get little down time during this trip. I can see the Eiffel Tower from the room of my hotel. But that's as close as I'm getting to it. Might get one night to hang out in Aberdeen. I could have stayed an extra day in Scotland at the end but I think I'll be happy to be getting back home.

How effective can an international work trip be when you're on the ground in a place for less than 36 hours?

I wonder how effective it is at times. But I'm visiting suppliers. And I'm attending a trade show. It represents a lot of business. In the long run its worth it.

I fly about 50k miles a year. Half of it this year will be this one trip. There are people I work with and do business with who travel like this constantly. I don't know how they do it. Even though it's all business class and mostly good hotels it's exhausting.
