I remember that year like it was yesterday. I lost my job, the first hurricane hit, my mom caught meningitis and fell into a coma, then the next two hurricanes hit while she was in ICU. the I spent the next 3 months visiting my mom in a rehab center. we got hit with a bunch of them but in 2005 wilma hit us pretty good. no power for two weeks, kids were out of school for a month, the borders i worked at was closed for more than a month, my parent's house had about 150k in damage.

i did a bunch of acid in the dark those two weeks. i had taken vacation the week it hit (far in advance) so i got paid anyway for two weeks, and then after that we all got to work at sifting through the books and debris and shit at work so i dont think i lost much time. couple people i knew lost their homes. after all the years living in south florida, that was the most damaging storm that we ever experienced directly. pretty lucky. i remember hurricane andrew; it was on the first day of school (cancelled of course). but it was south of us. lots of hurricane days off from school but no real damage until wilma. oh yeah and curfew from dusk to i think 5am every day... i mean compared to people dying and shit thats no big thing but at the time it was inconvenient. kinda get desensitized to "hurricanes" when you live in florida, it's surprising when one actually does hit and is worse than expected

I was in the eye for Gloria in '84. That was when I was still in NYC. It was crazy it was perfect beautiful weather for like 20 minutes, the streets were flooded and people had boats going up and down the streets, then it started getting windy and everyone went inside.

I have no problem with the idea of the tatoos. He loves his craft.

The real problem is that it's a horrible ink job. line work is bad. shading is bad.
