also i dont really need an apartment do i, i could sleep in a homeless shelter and roam the streets its not a NECESSITY i mean i'm lucky i'm getting anything amirite i mean who cares that i paid into the system whose sole intent is to take care of people who get sick and have worked enough to get federal benefits and have been getting medical help the entire time and with the help of all that am returning to work which DAMN SURE would have never happened if i had no place to live and nothing to eat and no health insurance to get help with for the last four years... which would have happened ANYWAY if not for my family not being completely poor and being able to help me because in reality benefits need to be expanded not reduced because most people are fucked even if they have worked long enough to get federal money and not just state (SSI) because you really can't live on $800 a month especially when your medication and dr visits alone cost almost that much

well i did apply and get approved right after he got inaugurated

i got lucky though my shit got expedited because i was so obviously in need of help. especially someone like i was in my early 20s usually gets denied over and over and it takes them more than a year if they ever get it. thats a year of homeless shelters and waiting for months to see a medicaid doctor in a dirty clinic and not getting any help
