But there's a difference between being in a hospital 24/7 and getting outpatient help and inpatient in emergencies.

In fact, permanent psych hospital stays are not about help, they are about warehousing. If you're at that point you are not only likely beyond help but are also costing the taxpayer even more because you'll get a check and the taxpayer will be paying for your stay.

I mean if I got warehoused when I was sick and going in and out of hospitals I certainly wouldn't have gotten better enough to be getting off SSDI any time soon, if ever.
