Default What are your thoughts on band t-shirts?

I have an embarassing amount for a thirty year old. Some of them are like, "classic" shirts like Bowie and Johnny Cash, tho.

I have:

School of Seven Bells
Drive-By Truckers
Pink Floyd
Modest Mouse
The Hold Steady
Kylesa
Death
Neurosis
Between the Buried and Me

Maybe some more. I know wearing them makes me a tool or something but IDGAF

I have a number of them but only regularly wear a handful of them. Most of them are many years old and I've gained a little weight since, so they just sit in a box.

I usually only wear a shirt if they are American Apparel brand because Gildan/Fruit of the Loom make shitty quality shirts - a few washes and they start gettting warped/boxy and uncomfortable.

Currently I wear the aforementioned Bowie, a Johnny Cash (both from H&M), a Pumpkins one (distorted Jesus), and a Hendrix (from H&M). Can't wait for chilly weather so I can break out my Best Coast sweatshirt (no name, just logo).

I don't feel bad at all about wearing my Pixies shirt or the Zero shirt.

I was thinking about making this thread just a few days ago! I stopped wearing most of my shitty, generic black hot-topic style band ts a long time ago, but I still wear some nice ones I got from concerts now and then. I'm only 23 but I'm not sure if it's still "cool" to wear a Pearl Jam avocado shirt at my age
