I was kinda thinking the same thing when I saw all the classic rock, not that it isn't classic, I've just been over it for some time now.

where's Earth, Wind and Fire and Sister Sledge for that matter? Why don't we just make it easy and say just about anyone who was on Don Kirshner's rock show is worth seeing perform.

It's not Rush. It's Alex Lifeson playing a guitar solo over his friends song and it is a lesson for every guitar player to understand how to be understated yet make a huge impact with a solo.

No, guitars are still capable of sounding fresh and new, that solo doesn't. What he's playing is good, but it sounds like a million other solo's from the 70's\80's.

You may not like this song, but the guitar playing here is fresh and not dated at all.
