You and yosoy are not a combination that I would expect is all. I chalk her defending you up to her simply trying to be "serious" and leave her partygirlness behind. did my saying shit make you think i was angry or something? i'm just saying, i have a degree and am in debt, too. you're not special for it.

nothing i learned in school formed any of my deep-seated standpoints (not that i know of, anyway). growing up a socioeconomically disadvantaged mexican female and my subsequent experiences did that for me. (white) boys attempting to put me in my place isn't new.

and is school not an experience?
