CDG is the worst modern airport in the world. They should destroy it and start from scratch. Sheremetyevo is the scariest airport I've ever been to - but I hear they've done tons to modernize it in recent years.

Every U.S. airline is inept and sucks, so arguing about them is a waste. Singapore Air is by far the best airline in the world.

Anybody been to the airport in Milwaukee? I have a stop there tomorrow and was just curious.

I've only flown a handful of times and all have involved the same two airports / cities with no problems. No problems with any of the airlines either. I've been pretty lucky.

I don't know if it is really true - I flew with Continental only once and it was international, and I don't have a single bad word to say about them. Although if it looks like they cleaned the plane before the flight, give me newspaper and a bottle of water, don't give me customs forms 5 minutes before landing and go through the plane few times, I am a satisfied customer.

My luggage got lost three times, but I assume that's a responsibility of airport authorities.

actually luggage is the airline's responsibility. i applied for some stupid air canada job once that had some title along the lines of 'luggage manager' or whatever.

No, I only have a one hour stop there. We are driving to Chicago from that city whose names currently escape me. I only remember a mall and a lot of record stores. I am sure it will come back to me at some point. Anyway, it's a six or so hour drive from there.

If you are into statistics, then Qantas is your guy. Qantas' airplane never crashed. They had accidents, but pilots always managed to bring the plane down with no one injured. Even with this hole on the pic.

they delivered on eveything, I don't have a single bad word to say about them. And Schwechat is pretty easy to get around, too.

And they have never lost my luggage, either.

Quantas' engineers are all on strike (and have been for a while now) - you wouldn't catch me on a Quantas plane for a good while.
