But seriously, that's exactly the thing I've been focusing on a lot lately, dubbed consumer philanthropy. I've been thinking about it a lot lately with a post-scarcity economy. It's a big part of the 501(c)(3) I'm helping start up with a handful of guys.

this is totally unrelated, but fuck it this is my thread. i was hanging out with my four year-old nephew, trying to teach him not to try and eat six grapes at a time without chewing because he might choke. he says, don't worry uncle evan, if i get sick jesus will come and make me all better. he better not use this as an excuse not to look both ways before crossing the street someday.
