For Martha was originally titled Dear Martha, it was going to be a mashup of Dear Mama by Tupac and For Martha...After Tupac died, Billy scrapped the Tupac version and went with what is now known as the Adore version.

well it's also the fact that some guy died and bill corgan performed a song at his funeral, which is pretty sweet for such a cantankerous old bastard like bill, and pavementtune is almost beside himself about OMGZ NEW SONG WHEN WILL IT COME OUT

Nope. He performed it - along with other songs - in their house. Gave permission to get this stuff on youtube - except the one song he wrote in a hurry. I don't WANT anything, I just guessed, one Billy will record it properly.

2. You got the wrong impression. I never expected it to be released right away.
But I think he will eventually do something with that song - especially since he doesn't shit out good songs very often.
I only wondered how he would release it - putting it on the next album under the teargarden umbrella would be a little odd.
