Not a Chicagoan. But the son of two clowns who still keep up with their Chicago area high school 30 years later. And still talk about it all the time. And still beat me down with references to the good ole days at:

Your driving town Toughy (sp?) and all the sudden it's the tower.

Yeah but my parents are from Skokie, which they always point out when they say they went to Niles North ("yeah but we're from Skokie." Like that's so much better.

I went to Von Steuben until my sophomore year? I started a home-schooling thing kinda between soph and junior I think.. It's meshed together, I don't remember.

If I continued Von I'd have graduated in 99 w/ my twin sis.

nah i was just kidding. Whenever i go visit my cousin in chicago i always see von steuben. He lives on St. Louis Avenue right by the Jewish academy and across the street from Northeastern's football field or something

Yeah, well marquette didn't have architecture and UWM is a pretty good architecture school so I chose to go there. I guess it's kinda fun, The cops care too much in the city. It is in a nice area though, shorewood has some damn nice houses but the ghetto isn't too far either.
