It's like somebody took a classic piece of literature and gave it the George Lucas video game visual movie treatment. Why all the CGI? There's a point where it's distracting.
also, does anybody feel like the tunes in the trailer just don't seem to fit the era that the film is set? I hope it has a traditional score and that's just early marketing |

I'm in the minority when I say the 2000 movie with Paul Rudd was the best Gatsbv. Now this shit comes out but of course I will be there on opening night.
I hear they are also remaking Red Badge of Courage. Let's take bets on how "gruesome" they make it instead of focusing on the inner turmoil that I felt was the focus of the book. |
