I am not the guy from Edinburgh with the well written letter. I am Freddy, with the less well written letter.

btw toc, don't get me going on those hipster liberals that have hitched themselves to the occupy movement, camping out in oaktown, taking shits and pisses in the streets like animals. They quit their jobs, stopped showering, and are currently working on mix tapes for their cause. Let's just say, it's not nice to walk to your car in the parking lot, notice a crowd of the dirty hipsters across the way, looking down by your door and wondering if it wasn't one of them that just took that massive dump you have to step over just to get in your car. Fuck these people and the way they have gone about their cause. A good friend of mine living at Lake Merritt told me about how they are out on a boat now occupying a fucking lake, pissing off the boat and throwing their trash in the water. All this for wall street?

lol. Is Oakland not the biggest scariest shithole in the U.S. right now? Aside from the certain zip codes that are upper crust over there, the place is a tinderbox just waiting to be set ablaze. There's so many shootings there these days, police are overwhelmed, mayor is on planet krypton with her act....its a fucking mess.

and yah, I guess Soros threw money at Occupy for the express purpose of bringing in the homeless meth-head drugged out element and undermine the cause. it worked.

yes, I meant for US foreign policy

Mexican-American War, Spanish-American War, US entering WWI, US entering WWII, Korean War, Vietnam...

These were all (largely) the projects of liberal US administrations. Iraq and Afghanistan are the exceptions.

Oh right yeah.

But most of those earlier wars in Central America were in pursuance of economic goals, and I would say that also played a large part in the First and Second wars. Korea and Vietnam were slightly more complex I think, but the basic motivation for intervention has more or less been uniform; securing new markets/resources, projection of power. I can't think of a single instance of a truly humanitarian intervention. I guess liberal and conservative administrations just find common ground on this sort of thing.

yes, basically. WWII was probably the most legitimate US intervention, but Roosevelt didn't really give a shit about the Jews or anyone else... it was definitely economically motivated.

Guy was probably getting a ton of hate mail on top of the intense world wide media scrutiny.

I actually feel pretty sorry for him. Feel more sorry for his kid, though.

damn starla don't start talking about hipsters like you know what's up out in montana
They have a ton of them in Montana too. They're only redeeming quality is that they dress up like sexy nurses at halloween, and the next day they go back to dirty hipsters.

Ya, I pegged the guy to be a bleeding heart 'sensitive 90's guy' flamer, but this is over the top. In fact, its so over the top I'm suspicious *surprise*. Maybe there's a bi-polar issue here, can't handle the pressure of the fame monster or whatever, but maybe someone drugged him to make him look this foolish. The timing is curious, put it that way.

Anyway, Alex Jones has been ripping Angelina Jolie and George Clooney a new one on this Kony issue and other African related U.N. causes. He's doing a pretty good job of exposing the hollywood element as complicit in the genocides of these countries under the U.N. guise of "Humanitarian" causes.

Actually, yeah, fuck this guy. He's had a decade to work out why what he is doing is stupid and now it looks like a lot of these "travel" and "postage" costs were just fuelling a cocaine habit.

If someone wanted to fuck up his cause, the first thing to do is discredit him and ruin his reputation.
