I have no capacity to talk with people I donT relate to, or be "fake", without tipping my hand. My coworkers probably think I'm a sociopath and they could be on to something.

In meetings, when people keep using these corporate buzzwords and pretending to discuss things, I feel my eyes develop a glaze, my lip involuntarily curls in discomfort, and I cannot communicate in any way but nodding my head and murmuring in agreement.

My soul is dying a bit each day. I'm in damage control mode and turtling up until I have enough money to take a chance at a new career.

Or I'll do this for 15 years and just play video games and pretend my songs will ever amount to anything. Yeah, I'll do that.
