I'm going to keep it to one song per album.

Also: Cave Song, We Bros

I'd have put the Country Shit remix on here but he released the original last year so it kind of doesn't count but it's still dope as shit, especially with Bun B kicking the shit out of the beat at the end.

Picked this over Queen of Hearts because the outro is the essence of the Zeitgeist: "Those better days ain't gonna come/Those better days have passed us by/Those better days have run out/Because those better days were a LIE/BAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!! BAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!"

Possibly one of my favorite lyric couplets of the year "You look so good on the outside/you make me feel good on the outside."

Possibly the prettiest song of the year.

Also: Albatross, Bed of Nails

SCUSE MY FRENCH BUT I'M IN FRANCE. HEH HEH I'M JUST SAYIN

Also: Belong, My Terrible Friend

OMG SHE SO KYOOT

Of course my favorite on this album would be a Mary Timony one. Love her smoky vox.

Also: Dive In, Endless Blue

Also: Whirring, Cradle

Also: Heart is a Beating Drum, Satellite

Also: Medicine, Sore Thumb, Pear Tree

i would replace your EMA song with "kindhearted woman" that's still my favorite jam of hers even though the track has been floating around for a few years.

her "some dark holler" project is what i wish she would have explored further. kind-hearted woman is an extension of that. trots there's no reason for you not to get hard off this for example:
