practicing rhetoric does not require, nor should it require, an audience outside the rhetoricians.

nice how they always mention moore and verlaine because they're 'frontmen'. lloyd and ranaldo are just as if not more awesome

belew not being on the list is a major error. dude is a fucking genius.

putting ppl like lennon/cobain/ramone/lou reed is silly. neil young did some interesting guitar stuff but it's obvious that he's known as a songwriter first and foremost. and save the bluesmen for the blues list.

robin guthrie and kevin shields deserve recognition for coming up w/ really original tones/atmospheres

steve howe [yes were the best prog band. listen to 'close to the edge' if you need any convincing. rush are overrated. good band of course, but anyway]

i'd prolly put bernard sumner on a list actually. sometimes subtlety is where it's at. the edge [or the evans as i call him cuz he stole my name] learned a lot from this guy.

my knowledge on guitarists isn't vast i admit, i'm way more interested in song craft than technical ability

anyway fuck rolling stone

I think that maybe none of you have actually listened to any neil young and are basing this on whichever two songs of his you have heard on the radio
