which mod chip should I get for my Playstation 2?

I want to get one but there are a few to choose from and I don't know which is the best. Everyone I talk to has their own opinion but Im leaning more towards the messiah 2 as it seems the most popular. Prices that I've been quoted range from $99 for an Asian manufactured chip to $130 for the Messiah 2. (all Australian dollars) Also, has anyone had any problems with them?

Mine and Dan's have the Messiah 2, and it works great. Basically anywhere you look for recommendations, they'll say this chip simply because it never seems to have problems with anything, whereas others do occasionally. You'll need to check it works with your PS2 though (should do unless you have a really old one) and it's a fairly big soldering job (30-40 pins I think) so you might want someone to install it for you
