He still wrestles worse than even Hulk Hogan, which is quite a feat when you think about it.

I'm an ass man
Yeah I'm an ass man (Yeah!)

I love to love 'em
I love to kick 'em
I love to shove 'em
I love to stick 'em
Love to flaunt 'em
I love to watch 'em
I love to pick 'em
And I'm gonna kick 'em

'cause I'm an Ass Man
Yeah, I'm an Ass man
Yes I'm an Ass man (Ohhhh)
I'm an Ass Man

So many asses, so little time
Only a tight one, can stop me on the dime
I'm a lover, of every kind
The best surprises always sneak up from behind

I'm an Ass man
Yeah, I'm an Ass man
Yes I'm an Ass man (Ohhhh)
I'm an Ass Man

Buns of glory,
Buns of steel
Your lies won't give away the truth of how I feel

You walk behind me,
I feel the heat.
That's why the girls don't walk behind me down the street

I'm an Ass man
Yeah, I'm an Ass man
Yes I'm an Ass man (Ohhhh)

I love to love 'em
I love to kick 'em
I love to shove 'em
I love to stick 'em
Love to flaunt 'em
I love to watch 'em
I love to pick 'em
And I'm gonna kick 'em

I'm an Ass man
Yeah, I'm an Ass man
Yes I'm an Ass man (Ohhhh)

Thumbs down

i was actually joking with a friend earlier today about how stupid it would be if bg came back with the mr. ass gimmick. we were talking about how austin wants all his old buddies to be just like they were back in 97 (recent speeches to kane, foley) and i said next thing he'll be begging billy gunn to haul down his pants. we had a good laugh about it and lo-and-behold, that very night he did (well, he didn't moon, but it's just a matter of time).

billy gunn can be an amusing character, but he's always been sub-par in the ring. i'm not saying you need to be great in the ring to entertain (see: hogan, early rock, post-surgery austin, wcw goldberg), but with so many guys festering at the bottom of the smackdown roster wo have character AND ring ability, it seems a waste to throw ringtime at a guy who isn't going to capitalize on it like some many other guys could (and would, given the chance). that said, i'd rather see him as the assman than as part of billy or chuck or that tag team he was in with the big show that was premised on them both "wasting their potential" (read: wwe wasting time and money on them), but ultimately i'd rather not see him at all. at least he went over at the expense another guy who gets push after undeserved push. eventually though, he's going to end up squashing cruiserweights, and that's just not cool.

I should add that Hogan is one of my favorites and even now he is still one of the most entertaining when he is on the mic. Am I one of the only people that loves the Mr. America gimmick? I thought it was great again tonight.

i'll admit i've marked out for hogan a few times since he's been back, but i haven't really been feeling the mr. america thing. the introduction was decent, the ppv match was awful (and marked the drying-up of roddy pipers last ounce of credibility), and the segments have been hit-or-miss (and more often leaning toward miss). the lie detector thing had a few moments, but the format made it unbearably bad. that "meet my folks" show accomlished one good thing: it intoduced the world to the "thumbs up/thumbs down" lie detector test, thus making the cartoonish "ding/buzz" test officially unneccessary. at this point, mcmahon is still making me laugh, but i can definately see vince overexposing himself in the months to come.

nyeh, at least it's setting up tenacious z's in-ring debut. as much as i want to see z in a wwe ring, i don't want to see him arm-westling vince mcmahon to get there. don't get me wrong: vince has been solid in his "oppressor of the disabled wrestler" role, but i think it would have been much better if z had gone to raw and ended up being the first guy to win the white-boy challenge. not only would it have given some direction to the "back the mack" angle, but we would have seen z where he is most impressive right from the get-go: as the underdog in a wrestling match. they aren't even talking about how good he is, they're just making him out to be a charity case.

I don't understand it, The guy has continuously put on terrible matches since the days of the New Age Outlaws, yet they always bring him back and the people eat up whatever he does. When I went to Smackdown last week he probably got the second biggest pop just behind Kurt Angle.

I guess he's basically just the wwf prototype of what they love: huge guy with decent athleticism, great carisma, average (at best) wrestling skills. If he was born 15 years earlier, he could have very well been the equivilant of Hogan.

But I still gotta admit, that damn song sure is catchy...

what the fuck? billy gunn is badass. i think he doesn't get enough of a push. fuck you guys. I think the WWE acts much like a label who drops support for their artist when i think of billy gunn. They don't put enough into him. His matches are cool, and i think he's a kickass wrestler. Its a shame every new moniker he takes overshadows his in ring skills.

fuck you haters.

Mr. Ass has a shitload of potential I feel the WWE should allow him to show. He will be getting a huge push which is nice. I am pissed about Cena's push just drying up.

They should call him Mr. Class.

Now that's irony.
