Getting other people's email by mistake.

I get other people's email like once a month because of my simple email name. This latest one made me go

I get a couple a week because my address is very, very plain. I've had some good ones, from entire divorce settlement documents to mortgage info (social security numbers, credi info, etc.) to the rate has-to-be-under-18 year old girl sending naked shots to her I assume boyfriend.

I find that very irritating. On one of my old gmail addresses with my maiden name (first.last@gmail) I constantly get this other girl's email. It's like she gave out the wrong address to her entire contact list. We had the same first/last name, but her address is firstlasta@gmail. I've forwarded a bunch of mail to her, and she said thanks and that she'd let everyone know, but didn't, I still get it. It's all of her business email, flight confirmations, receipts from purchases etc.

Same shit happens to me. I forward them to the correct Natalie, but shit is annoying. I also get email for someone with my name on a UK gmail account.

I got an email from a school this lady was trying to enroll her son in. I called them so let them know she didn't get the info, and they OFFERED TO GIVE ME HER PHONE NUMBER. I decided fuck it and called her. It was weird but she seemed thankful.

gmail ignores periods in its email aliases. don't know why gmail allowed both to be created

Never the email deal, but I do get wrong calls frequently. A lot of them are Spanish (presumably Mexican) collect calls or debt collectors.
