If humans laid eggs, would it be acceptable in any cultures to eat the eggs?

I figure it'd be pretty big in parts of Asia. Then Africa but more out of necessity.


Also if humans laid eggs would this then help stop the over population? In areas where food is not easily available instead of someone having a kid they would just eat the fertilized egg for their own survival?

years ago i went to a post modern restaurant where they deep fried fertilized eggs from the girl who owned the restaurant. it was a weird and expensive experience but it was well worth it

and we don't normally eat fertilized eggs as far as I know, so why would we eat the fertilized human eggs?

And the fertilized egg thing is a different issue. I have no doubt that if people liked to eat human eggs then they would do so with unfertilized eggs. The fertilized egg thing is for the African argument. They don't exactly have good safe sex practices in poorer nations and thus there are a lot of unwanted pregnancies. Also present is hunger issues. So instead of letting this fertilized egg hatch, they could instead cook and eat the egg. No unwanted child that they can't support + food for the starving people.

And this is what I consider the fringe cultures mentioned in my main post. They would of course be eating the eggs with no questions asked, fertilized or not fertilized. They may even eat the babies as they hatch from the eggs, who knows, they are the fringe cultures.
