i'm not sure but their government is filled with braying paid for jackasses same as ours. maybe one of our english friends could remind me what was going on with the payola scandal in parliament for labor a few years back, i forget.

my boss ran for city council and i thought he was losing it but he actually ended up winning. i think with local politics you run on a singular thing you can have a chance. he ran on making u-turns legal for a street or some shit

My buddy from a high-school band is in the city council here. Mostly just wear a suit, champion some cause and trick the community into thinking you're a good hearted young man. Bam, instant office.
