I really am sorry for making another thread about this movie...but oh holy shit. Awesome. I was so thoroughly entertained. It was just the best. I laughed out loud several times....<3 Ellen.

i can't place what it is. i didn't dislike it, really, but it just wasn't as good as everyone is saying it was.

Her TV show was godawful. Yes, she was "brave" for coming out, blah blah blah, but the show wasn't even slightly funny. If that is any reflection on her standup, no thanks.

As for the movie, I'm not wasting 10 bucks to see it in the theatre. I will wait until it comes on TV, probably.

Ellen should have stuck to standup. The show was lame.

The movie was OK. I know it was a cartoon, but a bunch of crap really pissed me off about it, like the baby turtles hanging around the adult turtles. Sea Turtles abandon their children before they're even hatched. Also, the fact that all of the fish had their eyes on the front of their head bothered me. Do you expect me to believe that a clownfish is a predatory animal? And the whole thing with the EAS basically looking like a big blue tube in the middle of the ocean. At least they got the clownfish-anemone symbiosis thing right.

The sharks were funny as hell, though. The idea of a great white shark with an aussie accent named bruce just tickled me pink. And the seagulls. Mine. Mine. Mine. Mine.

I loved it. Ellen's voice was perfect for a fish with short term memory loss. Agh. The sharks were great.

And when the little girl walked into the dentist office and the camera zoomed to her and the psycho music played...oh man...that was hilarious.
