Default APP MANIA

Is anyone into music apps? I have become fascinated with them recently and wanted to ask for recommendations. I have the Korg Kaossilator and the Moog filtatron and was looking into a drum machine. After some research, 3 stand out to me:

Funk drum: Made popular by damon albarn. This is a basic and cheap app that emulates 808, 909 and some other vintage drum machines. Seems pretty solid overall but I would like some insight because it almost appears *too* basic, something I would just never use.

iDrum: Seems pretty neat except that the highest rated edition is "club" which i doubt will compliment distorted guitar. The demo demonstrates a very high level of control which really jumped out at me.

Rebirth: This appeals to me because I recognize it by reputation, but it looks really complicated.

The price difference is negligible, I just want something that will create actually interesting beats. Does anyone know what kind of drum machine the pumpkins used back when?

Bebot - very cool little synth-y touchscreen based app, where you can make really expressive melodies, with surprisingly deep configuration options, such as being able to dial a scale and have it show as a grid on the screen. it's awesome

Ellatron - I really like this as a mellotron emulator (it comes with a bunch of other patches as well, but those aren't nearly as much fun) it's kinda rigid in it's interface, but it sounds pretty good.

Thanks for the recommendations, i will definitely check them all out. I guess no one has any insight on the drums machines?

Slunken: I am having a lot of fun with the kaossilator app and anyone i pass it off to can't stop playing with it. I strongly recommend it, especially while it is still on sale for $10 (normally $20)

Luke de Spa: I am having a hard time orienting myself with the filtatron. is the VCO the "primary" variable? Do you use the pad or the knobs more often? Do you use it solo, with a guitar, a synth;?
