Default can we discuss this music video

not in the music board 'cause i'm more concerned with its message than its musical merits.

this song is always in my head too:

i only get like four channels where i'm living and one of them is 24/7 country music videos. in my defense.

that video didn't make me laugh or smile once. it looks like he spent one afternoon watching FOX news and then wrote a shitty song about it

*shrug* it's very anti fox news though. i like how it rags on everyone it's very bipartisan anti-politics. and from 2009! right after the recession when tea-party fever and general atmosphere of divisiveness was starting to really set in. i think now it is becoming less a "obama/socialist liberals vs. tea party/conservatives" opposition and more of a "the lower and middle class that is getting fucked vs. the politicans and bankers that are doing the fucking" divide. and i think this video illustrates the latter really well and it's refreshing to hear a country singer talking about "faux news" as it is portrayed in the video. also not saying i buy into any of those binaries, just commenting on the general feel of the nation as i have been perceiving it.

have you heard that new song (i suppose its new it was on the radio) about country boys and how they can get you to where you want to go due to their intimate knowledge of backroads and such?

and being against "divisiveness" is pure retardation. whatever it is that you want politically, there's someone that disagrees with you

if you're against politics and divisiveness you may be happy in china
