Default Has/does this ever happen to any of you guys?

I see tiny little transparent circles or bubbles floating/flying/falling about in front of my eyes, but only when I look at the sky through a window. They fade in and out of my sight. Their movement reminds me of blood cells or electrons. This used to happen to me as a child too.

A torn/detached retina can cause this, but that's probably happen all the time (I had this once, it was so annoying).

I'd go ahead and just poke out your eye.

dead cells, most likely from your inner eyelid, moving across your pupil

my former roommate had a similar problem and a neurologist told her that head trauma can result in breaks in the "jelly" stuff inside an eyeball. as light refracts through the boundary created by that break, it can cause little floating balls of light in your field of view. don't know if that's the same thing sppunk suggested.

Hmm

After reading that and Blue field entoptic phenomenon

I'd say mine are probably the latter, and I also have them at other times - not just when looking at a bright background

I've noticed it for as long as I can remember.

Went to the eye doctor for them. Unless you have a shit load and your retina is at risk for detachment there is nothing they can do to get rid of them. Surgery is too risky.

Is that similar to when you wake up and you see squiggly things or whatever, and then you have to rub your eyes and they go away?

this happens to me every time i look at the sky on a bright day (and in some other brightly lit scenarios too). i wiki-ed it once and found that it was normal i suggest you do the same.

i also get these aural migraines though. first i will have a little shiny rainbow-thing in the corner of my vision that follows my line of sight when i move my eyes, right? and that lasts for about 20 minutes and then is replaced by a TERRIBLE migraine that ruins the rest of the day. last time i got one was when i went to see the last harry potter movie and they were only showing it in 3D. 12 dollar migraine.

i see floaters 100% of the time
it's really irritating and i may be getting the laser treatment soon for it.
i can even see them when my eyes are closed.
they distracted me all through high school, but by college i got sorta used to them. they still surprise me every once in awhile if i'm focusing on something really close to my face and then i think theres a bug flying in my peripheral
