arguing brings negativity. it's okay to disagree but as soon as someone starts raising their voice or getting visibly upset it's not okay anymore.

as long as this is the slunken gives trots advice thread, i want to make the switch from jeans to slacks but i think people around me would comment on it all the time and that would get old

blue denim is still okay - i own three pairs. new french raw denim, an old beat-up pair of japanese raw denims, and an old comfortable pair of levis. i can rarely bring myself to wear light wash denim nowadays. have always been a fan of dark.

so like if you aren't comfortable not wearing jeans you can still pull of denim in a classy way by choosing your nice denim as opposed to the old shitknockers.

i'm still transitioning into wearing more slacks myself. more often than not though i chicken out and put the black denim back on if i don't feel comfortable. i've got a nice pair of grey wool trousers that are fun in the winter as well as some black cords (i wish they would fade). just recently picked up some dark green (eco-goth) slacks as well but man i look super gay in them.

i dunno, i think a well-fitting t-shirt can look fine in certain contexts.

well-fitting is the key. stretched collars, shoulder seams on the arm, sleeves that are too long, etc. are all really bad news.

Argument is an exchange or comparison of the merits of different views. Without it the world would cease to function.

fighting is what you guys are thinking of
