ATX atm here... while it's lovely here and a nice change of pace for the past few years, make no mistake about it, DFW is far superior to Austin.

Austin is a stepping stone city... few people of any worth have ambitions of staying in Austin permanently.

Austin supposedly ranked 3rd in the nation for traffic congestion. I find this highly unbelievable, and there's so many things wrong with the study they conducted.

I mean seriously? This study is bullshit. Austin is 1.28 and Houston is 1.27... This doesn't take into consideration the size of the metropolitan area or any number of other factors.
Austin's problem is the population has been booming, and the roads stay the same. If roads are built to handle a certain population size and are never improved on, it's no fucking surprise you're going to have traffic issues.
Some people here act as if increasing traffic delays is some source of pride, and I just don't get it.

I'm going to have to disagree with you on this, but I hate DFW. As far as I'm concerned, this is the best place to be until I move out of state.
