I was going to say drowning because you're conscious of not being able to breathe and that scares me, but it seems pretty lame compared to all these suggestions.

both drowning and starvation are good ways to die. in the first case you get nitric something high and in the second way you get high for some other reason.

I saw a video earlier today of a guy getting his head cut off with a chainsaw by a kidnapper. So that was pretty bad. The guy beside him had to sit through it, but his fate was beheading by knife.

Suffocation doesn't sound painful just scary as fuck.

I do worry about dying from an asthma attack and not being able to breathe. I've had some attacks that were hardcore and that would be an awful way to die.

I have this too, and when my asthma is bad and I'm face down it's fucking scary as fuck. When my asthma is bad and I get it on my back (which is much more common), I always feel like I'm short of breath and even when I dream I'll dream of being smothered and shit. I really don't want to die of an asthma attack in my sleep or while I'm having sleep paralysis. It does really scare me when this happens. Luckily my asthma's been better lately so I haven't been wheezing at night. Just regular old scary sleep paralysis.

i'm sure beheading would be awful, but it would be over quick at least. you either bleed out or the lights go out when the spine is severed.

I think a truly horrible method of death would have to be prolonged. for more suffering.

Yeah, anything that kills you quickly probably wouldn't make the list.

Perillos of Athens (circa 550 BC), according to legend, was the first to be roasted in the brazen bull he made for Phalaris of Sicily for executing criminals, although he was taken out before he died.
