This film doesn't seem to be an origin story like the other two. Gordon is now commissioner. And Bane is a more contemporary villain.

I'm almost certain Batman is not going to die at the end of this.

Banana, since you seem to be in the 'loop' can you find one of those posts a fanboy has obviously made by now, dissecting that trailer, and giving us some insight into what characters will be featured and suchh, based off of it?

you know the kind of post I mean! They're probably all over the place where you found this link.

I suppose I dont care about the batman movies too much really.

However, I did find these off a link on that messageboard, which are pretty cool, and havent seen them here yet:

Didn't get a chance to see it before WB yanked it. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to wait until tomorrow night to see it before HP7pt2. For me, tomorrow night is almost as much about seeing the teaser for TDKR as it is about seeing Harry Potter.

unless its right at the beginning, it showed no new footage of anything. snippets and dialog from 1 and 2.

just rewatched it, it may have just been too dark for me to make anything new out though. theres a description out of gordon in a hospital bed with an oxygen mask on-unless theres 2 going around thats not in there.

i remember when batman begins was leaking on the internet and people hated on it for whatever reason they could find and then it came out, was legitimately quality and then even with the second one there were dorks saying "OMG NOBODY'S BETTER THAN JACK NICHOLSON LOL" and then turns out uh actually hell yes he was and now there's no haters.
