Unreasonable Parents

so i've been getting along really well with my mom lately, or so i thought. she'd been acting a lot more reasonable about most things, and didn't seem to care too much what i do.
but, a little bit ago i told her i was going out to chill with my friends justin and scott (she knows them, and justin lives down the fucking street) saying that i was gonna walk over there, not stay out late and scott would drive me home later, and she lost it on me, screaming that if i went out not to come home because i'd never have a place to live and so on... now, i know she's not being serious, but i'm 19 years old, and i really don't have to put up with this shit anymore.. i lived on my own last year and i'm moving out again shortly, and to pull this on me now is just incredibly stupid.. and to top it off, she pushed me down the stairs and my arm hurts like fucking hell now... ugh.

i'm really poor. i've been spending too much money on other people/things i really dont need lately and I don't want to touch my savings. my checking account is down to about 400 when I like to keep it between 7 and 1000. I'm starting to freak out. usually i wouldn't, but i'm leaving on vacation in two days and don't get paid until i get home, and i'm anticipating spending some money while i'm there. I dont want to have to worry about what my balance is while i'm there. I don't think it's all that fair that I have to pay for some of the things I do like haircuts, some food, etc. my brother doesnt pay for his, why should i? Last week I picked up my brother's birthday cake and ended up having to pay for it. my mom said she'd pay me back and never did. I nonchalantly asked her if I could be repaid today and mentioned that I'm a bit broke. she then bust out with how I need to go buy my dad a father's day gift and how I owe her car insurance money and if i could pick up a best buy gift card for my cousin's birthday tomorrow while I'm at it and then we'd be even. WTF?! I'm owed $40 from some friends and I have a sneaking suspision that I'll never see it. I'm freaking out. where did all my money go?

ok, so i'm living in the dorms right now at uci, but the dorms close on saturday so on saturday i have to move back in with my mom to lancaster. now, i know that most of you have never even heard of lancaster and let me tell you- there is a reason for this. uneployment in that shitty little town is 15% this year. mom's local gas station is four exits down the highway. yes. the highway. the best part is, i get to sleep on the couch. yes. the couch. there is no phone line, no food, no internet connection, no alcohol/weed hookups, no where for me to work, no one that i know. in fact, i will be living two hours away from my nearest friends.
so i get to spend all summer sitting, eating, sleeping, masturbating and chain smoking ON THE COUCH.
oh yeah, and she lives with her boyfriend and his three year old son. did i mention that i hate children?
more or less it should be a fun time.

i used to joke about that city, as i had a friend who lived up there for a while. i love how all the streets are numerical going one direction, and alphabetical the other.

now my mom lives up in Santa Clarita off the 14....not quite Landscatter, but jeez does it get hot.
