Default Typical indie rock exchange misunderstood in line at Radiohead midnight sale

one guy working the register selling radiohead cds
other guy working behind counter - "Is anyone buying anything else other than radiohead?"
indie rock girl- "You can buy something other than radiohead?"
awkward pause while he attempts to read the situation "yea - you can buy anything in the store"
girl pauses, now assessing him to see if *he's* being ironic, or sarastic, or... "what else can you buy?"
pause again "uh, anything in the store"
longest pause. girl says "i was being sarcastic"
"oh. yea."

fuck those radiohead fans, those guys are assholes.
here is the situation:

me and this chick are waiting in line to buy tool tickets for another city. the tickets go on sale the same time as the radiohead tickets, it's just the the radiohead tickets are for los angeles and the tool tickets are for san diego. of course the ticketmaster is selling tickets for both of the shows. so the radiohead kids behind me and my friend find out that we are there for tool and not radiohead. as soon as the tickets go onsale, the radiohead kids start asking the people who work there if they can all get in line in front of my friend and i because "they are only here for tool and it's not even this city".
can you believe it?! they were actually ASKING PERMISSION TO CUT US.
the ticketmaster guy was like "why the HELL would i let you do that? they can stand in line and buy tickets for whatever they want, it's first come first serve"
and then the radiohead kids behind us were like "fuck you guys, fuck tool, if our show sells out we will be so pissed at you."
of course, once they got up to the line they got fucking pit tickets for radiohead, because no one wanted to go to their pussy show, after all.

I like them both, but I do need to be in a particular mood to listen to Tool. I love Radiohead though, I have for a long time. The last show I saw Tool's was awesome, and I haven't seen Radiohead yet. And I don't know if I'd want to, with all of the fucking people.

i can see that type of exchange happening if patrick failure and best looking brian ever meet.
they're both so sarcastic and "witty" that they'd just confuse themselves.
