but do you really honestly think anybody here gives a flying fuck about Duran Duran or questions like "what would Ian Curtis think about Interpol"? If you actually took three seconds to read what other people post on this board you'd realise you may as well be asking us what we think about the latest U2 or Linkin Park album. And yet you keep filling up the front page with threads about whatever the hell you happen to be listening to at the time without pausing to ask yourself if maybe nobody here is going to give a fuck? All you're doing is inviting people to give you shit.

I'm excited about Glassjaw finally recording again too, but you know what? I worked out that nobody else here would have anything constructive or interesting to say about it, so Ididn't start a fucking thread about it. All i'm trying to do here is explain to you how you can avoid leaving yourself open for torrents of abuse.

problem is that catherine wheel doesn't want to debase his worship of shit like interpol by actually listening to real post-punk like wire or getting into television, so it's just LOL

i had my hands over my ears because my next door neighbors and everyone on campus played it constantly and they were just an MTV band to me because that's where they all got it from.

and i thought they went away, honestly last year's ACL Festival was the first time I had heard of them in years

people were making a big deal and i was like, really? who fucking still cares about this stupid band? but tehn again Kings of Leon started out as a Strokes clone and now they're all huge too, which I can't figure out.

i like television
i like wire
i love the new strokes album. i agree with banana that Two Kinds of Happiness is a remarkable track. Also think the closer "Life is Easier in the Moonlight" is great.

flame away.

I listened to 154. It was pretty good. Reminds me of Joy Division at times but other than that it's pretty unique.
