my roomate really likes it. personally i didn't like the actor playing the main character so after the first 3 eps i wasn't into it. just my 2 cents, jack.

I'll give it a shot, thanks guys. Though the storyline doesn't really strike me so I might find it unsettling for myself. We'll see.

I wish Boardwalk Empire and Mad Men started sooner than they do.

it seems a little, uh, juvenile i guess. oh a serial killer lol coll. its awesome though. so much goddamn suspense, id go to sleep so late because i just had to watch the next episode.

he's one of the guys. an ensemble cast, really. his character does have moments of just being totally insufferable though like hnibos said. but i really loved it. all five seasons. really, really good stuff.

It's alright but I think people overrate it big time.

The acting is laughably bad. Dexter's sister on the show is probably the worst actress I've ever seen. She has to be near breaking down or tearing up with every line she speaks.

The whole formula of the show is predictable.

Yeah watch it! I found the first two seasons to be exceptionally great, but even after that it keeps being exciting.

Seasons 1 and 4 are the best.

Most of the supporting characters are fucking horrible and stupid. Michael C. Hall is the reason to watch it. The writing is really weak and you have to suspend your understanding of reality almost to the point where you're watching a superhero show. It's Showtime so it's HBO inferior no matter what they try to do.
