I want to understand this Planet X thing, and why people in China saw two suns the other day but many seem to think it was either an optical illusion or Nibiru.

some old woman a few years back claims she saw some aliens. They put a machine in her head and so she started a website to discuss the aliens. When hales comet flew by she said it was a fake. That the real problem was Planet X, due date: 2012.

Anyway, she reckongs Planet X is pretty big and when it comes past next year it'll fuck up our poles and we will all die.

No, I believe that's a different theory... That's the planet Nemesis that comes around every 12,000 years (or whatever it is) when there's the mass extinction on Earth...

Planet Niburu/Planet X is the planet in our Solar System that has the exact opposet rotation as the Earth, in that it is always on the other side of the Sun from us so we've never been able to see it. Man I remember the first time I read Sitchen - my mind was blown. Then I learned what a fruit he is/was. The stuff about the winged flying discs in history is kind of cool though - even though he was totally liberal with all his translations.

And it's not that it has the opposite rotation as Earth - its that it's on its own rotational axis. Like if we're going from left to right this planet is going diagonal and it takes so many thousands of years to cross our path or something like. Soniclovenoise nailed it the best iirc.
