I think she is about to dump me...I've suddenly become very unavailable due to my boss going on preggo leave and me picking up her hours for the next few weeks (20 hours of OT a week is going to be so BA) but anyway, I think not being available today due to a meeting and then work right afterward has become the "dealbreaker"

Time to be the man and take the fall. Don't make her hate you first. Just do the right thing and tell her you just don't see a girlfriend in the picture with your current short-term goals for the future. And if she can see that you're bullshitting, then say "Well, maybe if you weren't a shitty little bitch we could work something out. Or if your hotness to bitchiness ratio were a lot better. Sometimes you gamble and you lose, ya know?"

All this long drawn out excuse advice is what makes problems. Think of how you would want to be broken up with and do it like that.

I've never been broken up with but I'm sure my time is coming .. probably when I really really like someone because the universe likes to punch you in the face like that.

I ended up telling her exactly how I felt...I was losing interest, work has become more of a priority and the distance is kind of hard to deal with...she was totally OK with it, but cut her hair yesterday so I assume she is acting out in some way or another.
