The problem with taxing the top 2% more and more is that the cycle never ends. Here nearly every year that's how ballots propose to pay for things, and California is losing businesses with a quickness to states like Texas and believe it or not, Michigan, because of the state taxes.

Then if your question is should the federal government be funding education or the arts, the answer is a resounding "no" but by your statement of "if you still lived there" which I quoted it was pretty obvious you were talking about New Jersey and not the federal government.
