but seriously, is there any reason why i can't put my frozen food out on my balcony until i get this fridge situation taken care of? it is -6 celsius right now.

when I was a kid my uncle had a convience store and his coolers broke and so he had to get rid of a lot of food and we ended up getting a whole shit load of Tony's frozen pizzas....it was so awesome.

Might be too cold outside for some of your stuff. Should be alright as long as you don't have beer in glass bottles, though.

I only out the frozen food outdoors for now. I'll be putting the beers out shortly before consumation and keep an eye on them, since I know it doesn't take long for a beer to freeze in the freezer.

russians used to have boxes outside of their windows where they'd keep stuff that needed to be kept cold in the days before refrigeration.

when we came to chicago to look for an apartment we went back to dallas only to find our fridge had been broken for DAYS.

our apartment smelled like rotting food for hours. ;_;
