some dude i've been hanging out with told me that he and his coworkers convinced people during that anthrax/terrorist scare that tulips attract anthrax and immediately rid it from the air. they worked at home depot, so eventually they had tulips set up right next to do the duct tape and plastic wrapping. people bought this shit, apparently.
