i live with a roommate in a two-bedroom apartment. we just moved in on sunday. we met almost 2 years ago at the record store he worked at where i was a customer. he has dyed-black hair, lots of tattoos and piercings. he's vegan and straight-edge. he does extra work in movies for a living, plays guitar and wants to be a rock star (he's been in a slew of different bands). his favourite bands are the beatles, iron maiden, motley crue and elliot smith but has a huge library of all sorts of music. he's a buffy fanatic (ugh) and has a huge thing for alyson hanigan. my cat absolutely adores him. he has a cat of his own, but she has been staying with his girlfriend because her apartment had mice.

anyway, he's an awesome guy and one of my best friends.

sounds like he has horrible taste in music (except for the beatles).

i live with my mom. she's 43 and really pretty and has her own soap business (check it out). she listens to mazzy star and ben taylor and jack johnson and some enya-type stuff. she can be really funny.
i also live with my stepdad. he's an ER doctor and italian and has a temper and likes the yankees. we used to hate each other and now we get along b/c we avoid talking about most things.
my step-sister recently moved in, too. she's almost eighteen and she's a bitch but i used to act just like her until i moved out. once you're away from your parents you appreciate them so much more. she hasn't had the chance to experience that yet so she won't even do the dishes when asked.
and i have a black german shepherd named luna, a bunch of finches (my step-dad's; i hate birds), and my sister's cat, Suki.

My best friend who luckily doubles as the best roommate I could ask for. We live in a 2-person one bedroom apartment, but sharing a room isn't an issue. That way rent is cheap and we don't have to deal with sharing bathroom and kitchen space and time with 3-4 other people as most of our friends do. It's a great set up.

i live with my husband. he is blond and nice and always smells good. he likes to do crossword puzzles and he listens mostly to the same stuff i do except he digs counting crows (ugh) and fountains of wayne and shakira. he likes to sleep a lot, and i dont.

this year i've had to live in 'dorms' again for my post grad studies.
I have 3 flatmates. 2 of them have known each other from previous years, they are of indian origin and go by the nick-names "B" and "D" (i'm not kidding). They're final year computer studies students, and i think they have turntables in their rooms. They listen to a lot of R&B and rap, and I think they like some jungle too.. http://forums.netphoria.org/wwwboard/icons/icon9.gif They smoke a lot of weed and have noisy friends around the flat a lot.

They're friendly enough, but I don't talk to these guys much.

My other flatmate is named 'Roy'. I think he's about 26 years old, but he's only a 2nd year law student and he has a girlfriend that 'comes' here a lot. He's talkive, but all we really ever talked about is law.

so i don't really 'hangout' with any of them, but my course this year has been too intensive for that anway.
They're all relatively considerate, and I did my part by taking out the trash yesterday.

I wish i had a funny story to tell, but it's been a dull year.

in september i'll be living with two of my best male friends, my female vegan neighbour from this past year at university and this random girl who is apparently psycho (we were already one month into the lease and were desperate). my friend asked the vegan to live with us when they were seeing each other, obviously a very, very stupid idea. now they hate each other and we haven't even moved in yet. this is going to be volatile environment to say the least. :erm

i live with my mom. it's a 3-story house. my mom is nice, but she tends to be crazy from time to time and she has really horrible short-term memory. she's a lawyer and she used to smoke and drink, but she doesnt smoke anymore, and drinking is limited to a couple glasses of wine when we go out to eat. she is a very tiny person. 5'2" and she weighs 100 lbs.

sometimes, i live with my dad. he's insane. he's very overprotective and OCD about me. he has to talk to me 3 times a day or he worries that im dead. my step mom and step sister live at the house too. stepsister's a bit of a slacker, but she's getting better. i dont think they like me too much.

my cat is a munchkin tabby. i love my cat. she's really fat.

my mother likes to spend a lot of time in the garden. she enjoys sleeping on the couch after she gets home from work. she gets upset when i dont eat and when i smoke in this room.

my grandmother calls me precious and kisses my cheeks when i'm not in a hurry. she yells at me for keeping the lights on when i stay up all night.

goldie is the most adorable persian ever. she's blind in one eye. she meows all the time and won't stop until i scream her name or i feed her. petting her works as well.

i live in a two bedroom apartment with tom, ryn, and ******. tom is one of the coolest guys evar and a fellow netphorian. he just got an incredible tattoo of our lady of guadalupe. ryn is a little diamond in the rough. he's beautiful, really. ******, my actual roommate, is marmy and caring and heelarious. she is also mad for elliot smith. last night, i had an interesting conversation with the two boys about the roles of physics and math in music. ryn thinks that if he knows the integral for perfect drumming and the equations to our songs, he can play. he knows it takes more than that, but he's a stubborn lad. it was a heated debate that was made more intense by the amount of alcohol in our systems. that is all.

I live with dan, he's this guy I decided to marry one day, he's okay Ig uess, kinda messy, but hey, so am I. We get along pretty well, and sleep in the same bed, but that's only because we can't afford anohter one, you know. THere are two bedrooms in our apartment, but we share one, because that way we can have TWO living rooms, one for smoking pot and chilling, and one for folding laundry (it's always all over the couch, because, as I said, we are both messy) and watching TV. It's okay I guess, I think I can live with it, yknow, as long as he doesn't leave the toilet seat up.
