Whenever i find out really bad news or something that i have been dreading, i start to shiver all over and i cant stop? does this happen to anyone else?

i get sleepy in a split second. it'll be 7pm and id be perfectly fine one minute, and the next thing i know im ready to pass out. in most cases i think certain thoughts and im alert as can be again. ive narrowed it down to certain thoughts. certain thoughts make me dreadfully sleepy and some make me wide awake. especially in movie theatres, where its dark and the movie provokes certain thoughts throughout. one scene im struggling to keep awake and the next perfectly fine. thinking about sleep doesnt make me sleepy but seeing myself in the mirror does. my cats the worst tho. it could be 2pm and i see my cat curled up sleeping and im out cold.

Instead of shivering, I feel like throwing up. are you expecting bad news?

Sorry to hear it

That uncontrollable shivering thing has only happened to me twice: once when I was listening to an...unbelievably amazing concert, and the other when I was watching all the stuff on September 11th last year. Two really different situations, so I don't really know why it happens. They were both pretty powerful though....not to be comparing the attacks to a concert or anything. Wow now I feel really shallow.

its more like an uncontrollable shudder... its not a shiver like when its too cold outside... its pretty violent.. and harsh.

Unhappy

yes i get that.. usually it's not from the news of one single event though, it's a bunch of things building up into one huge knot of dread or worry...
