man. yeah. jeez. i would never ask customers if they wanted anything. when i worked at a grocery store i had enough trouble asking them if they wanted paper or plastic, and usually didn't. i would wait to get fired instead of ever offering them stupid shit like a card to shop there. put up a sign. they'll ask about it if they want one.
