hey guys what's up. My girlfriend is watching this tv show about Merlin. there is a black lady in it. Isn't that a bit unrealistic for sixth century Britain?

how come the entire Empire fell when Palpatine was killed? Why wasn't another emperor just installed? Was it a complete cult of personality or what? Also, why did the Republic have a unicameral legislature? No wonder their democracy failed.

The empire kicked on for a while after Palpatine died. They had that Thrawn guy in charge, he was badass. And then they cloned Palpatine if I remember correctly. I haven't read any extended universe since I was like 14
