i hate the fact that when i talk to people they tell me, "oh, i never talked to you because i thought you were arrogant looking!"

i don't wanna look arrogant! i'm not! i hate myself and want to die! is that better?!

tiny things give air of condescension, in big ways. most people dont even know theyre doing it, but certain looks, attitudes or language can give off a sense of arrogance.

I think it's pretty subjective.. Self confidence is having pride in yourself and who you are and being comfortable with how you look.. i think it becomes arrogance when you start to think you're better than everyone else....

i used to have a friend who didnt say or do anything particularily arrogant or condescending but simply the look on his face gave the impression as if he was watching like midgets wrestle or something. a very frozen kind of awe look, that he had on 24 hours a day. i know it wasnt only to me because hed have the same look on all the time. i doubt it was intentional, but the point is that even the unintentional things, however small, can be interpretted as arrogance. even how someone walks or their posture give it off. i can consciously recognize it when i see it, but its not one of those things you can turn on and off.
