While i generally agree with what you have to say and respect your opinions (except when it comes to baseball), I think you're being a little naive and even unfair here. I don't think most people who commit to a serious relationship do so with the intention of cheating. Sure there are some assholes out there who will always lie and screw around but i'm not talking about those people. You can't just control who you fall in love with and when. It's possible for good intentioned people to fall out of love with their partner and inadvertently hurt them. My college girlfriend was not a bad person. She didn't intend to cheat on her boyfriend (who was also my roommate). Neither of us planned for it to happen but it did. It was a very awkward situation for both of us. Sometimes life just happens that way.

I probably could have worded that better. :/

I don't think the point is that they get into a long term relationship with the intention of cheating, I think the point is that you should just break up with someone rather than cheat on them.
