No lead in for the 11:00pm news doesn't leave much of an audience for the Tonight Show. It's all connected and it started with Leno's new show being abolutely horrible and his ratings killed everything in it's wake.

really? because i could have sworn it started with conan telling nbc he was looking into other networks offers if he didn't get the tonight show and them kicking leno out of his seat and forcing him into a 10 pm slot so he couldn't rival conan.
