i mean maybe we do but we do not have access to them, only the DM does. who i still have not even met. i talked to her on the phone once to get my security codes and shit, but she was to be the worse dm on the planet for not making a point to meet all the store managers.

so i have to calculate all the quartley reports myself, it's super shitty

My bonus is based on items from my P&L statement so it is pretty important for me to see it from month to month...kinda sucks you don't have access to that. I'd call shenanigans.

i did call shenanigans, they freaking ignored me. the fucked up this is our upper management or however you want to put it do not do shit. it's fucking amasinf they are they to support us there stores, and help us handle our shit, and the ignore anything you request unless something is actually on fire, they refused to send us deposit slips, for 3 months, we had to write our deposits on postits. our credit card machine is completly fucked up, and they refuse do do anything about it. shit our computer system can not even make correct change, thats been going on for 3 months and they could not be bothered to even address that issue.

ok i'm ranting now i'll shut up

Yeah, ours used to be based on things from the P&L, but they "simplified" the bonus system, so now it basically means we have to get above 90% on things like our Customer Voice (customer survey/imput), our sales, etc. So our P&L goes into it, but it used to based almost exclusively on our controllable contributions, which I think it should be.

Because, odds are good that we're not going to comp. last year's sales. Economy is shit and the market is saturated. However, if a manager can manage the SHIT out of their controllables to still turn a profit every month, I think that merits an even BIGGER bonus.

But whatever. rant over.
