This. My mom used to work 3 to 11, and The Commish always reminded me she would be home soon. Then after she got home, we'd watch Quantam Leap on Sci-Fi. Being 11 was awesome.

I remember my family watched this all the time, but the only specific scene I can recall is Stan getting a promotion from the Commish, being overjoyed, and getting into his car, which blows up when he starts it. Perhaps my first and most deeply felt lesson in man's mortality.

I loved the episode(s) where Vick was tracking that youth councilor who he suspected of being a killer. He went and dug up the guys yard and discovered a bone. He sprang out of the hole to arrest the dude right when Stan says "Boss...... it's a horse!"

That was an awesome episode.
