MPP is a 60 minute slab of pure white noise, there is not one discernable tone on the whole album. PF just puts it in their list to be controversial.

I thought the white noise thing on early Animal Collective albums like Here Comes the Indian and earlier.

But something clicked into place with Sung Tongs and everything else since and I really enjoy them.
