in at the same time. as i opened the door to walk out he should have opened the door to walk in, but i didnt feel the door open and i felt bad about the situation. i took two more steps and turned around really quickly and he was right behind. he freaked out, said he wasnt trying to scare me and that i "must be from new york". he then ran off behind the building. maybe he was just planning on taking my 12 pack and running or maybe he was going to shank me as i got closer to my car. im going to carry a nice knife from now on.

You should've gotten him in a full nelson and let the cashier wail on his stomach. Can't let those filthy hobos walk all over you.
