Call me crazy, but I don't think there's anything wrong with loving yourself as long as you don't think you're better than anyone. Confidence is good. Why be all down on yourself when you can love yourself for who you are? People are trying to change themselves so they can fit someone else's ideal, it's so much easier to get some confidence and say "Hey, I'm pretty cool just the way I am. I'm not going to change for anyone, and If they don't like me how I am, they can go fuck themselves."
I think the type of guy that doesn't like confident girls is not confident himself, and therefore goes for girls with low-self esteem because they think they can't do any better.

I don't think I'd be able to hang around you off the boards; you're flashy and voyeuristic, two things that make me uncomfortable because I'm definitely the opposite of both. That's not right or wrong, it's just the way I am.

But you're still cool, and what you say about not thinking you're above anybody is true. I still remember that even though you hardly knew who I was, you stayed online later than you were going to to send me Photoshop. That was really sweet of you.
